The website is hosted on servers in Germany. The hosting provider automatically collects technical log data (IP address, timestamp, accessed page, etc.) for security and functionality purposes.
A technically necessary cookie is set for language selection. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use the open-source analytics tool Umami (cloud.umami.is, USA). Only anonymized usage data is collected (page views, referrer, device type, country). No full IP addresses are stored and no cookies are set. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website optimization).

Data provided via email, WhatsApp or the demo booking form is stored only to process your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
License purchases are processed through the external payment provider Digistore24 GmbH (Germany, Bruchsal). When you click “Buy Now”, you will be redirected and enter your data directly at Digistore24. Personal data (name, email, payment details, IP address, etc.) is transmitted to Digistore24. Digistore24 is independently responsible for this processing (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract fulfillment). For purchases from the US or with US payment methods, data may be forwarded to the affiliated US subsidiary Digistore24, Inc. (Florida, USA).

Your data will not be passed on to third parties – except to the service providers mentioned above (hosting, Umami, Digistore24 GmbH/Inc.).
Our customers use the Wolfeye software to monitor screen activity on their own devices (e.g. employee PCs). Depending on the configuration, this may involve the processing of screen screenshots, timestamps and technical usage data.
In the standard live mode, an up-to-date screenshot of the monitored device is transmitted to our server roughly every 3 seconds in order to display it in the dashboard. The previously transmitted screenshot is overwritten by the new one, so that without the optional history function being enabled, we do not permanently store these screenshots.
Customers can optionally enable a history function. In this case, an additional screenshot is stored in a separate history area on our server at longer intervals (approximately every 5 minutes) and kept there until it is deleted or until the end of the contractually agreed retention period.
Where we store monitoring data on our servers, we process this data as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR on behalf of our business customers. These customers (e.g. employers, IT service providers) are the controllers responsible for the specific use of the software and for ensuring that any monitoring is lawful (e.g. employment law requirements, information duties towards employees, works council involvement where applicable). Upon request, we conclude a data processing agreement (DPA) with business customers.
The transmission of screenshots takes place via a TLS/HTTPS-secured connection. Stored screenshots are protected on the server by technical and organizational measures (e.g. access restrictions at server level, optional additional password protection via .htaccess for the history area).
